To advance the collective viewpoint of the state geological surveys in the development of national and trans-boundary policies and programs relating to the Nation’s surface and ground water resources; and to interact with other organizations with similar interests.
Members are appointed by the AASG President. The Chair will be a sitting State Geologist, appointed by the AASG President. The AASG President may appoint an Honorary Member to co-chair the Committee. The chair may create subcommittees to act on specific tasks.
