What we are looking for

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in the sciences or a closely related field (master's degree in geology preferred)
  • Experience: 0–3 years of progressive work experience in geology with acquired knowledge at the level of a Natural Resource Specialist
  • Skills: Strong writing and public-speaking skills; familiarity with subsurface geologic interpretation software (e.g., Petra), GIS (ArcPro), and well log interpretation; broad background in petroleum geology, sedimentology, stratigraphy, structural geology, economic geology, or airborne geophysics; strong collaboration skills; ability to conduct independent office and field work
  • Wyoming Geology: Familiarity with Wyoming's geology and natural resources is a strong plus
