Understanding Oregon’s minerals and critical minerals starts with strong geoscience. This is an opportunity to help build the geological knowledge that informs resource assessments, public policy, and future investment.
Join our Geological Survey & Services team to advance federally funded critical minerals research, bringing together geology, geochemistry, mineralogy, geophysics, and digital mapping to better understand Oregon’s mineral systems.
If you enjoy interpreting complex datasets, collaborating with other scientists, and communicating research to technical and public audiences, I encourage you to apply. The successful applicant will work with National Labs and State University partners, as well as a strong minerals and mapping program in DOGAMI. Significant publication opportunities are expected.
