s the Decarbonization Projects Leader at the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries (DOGAMI), you will lead efforts to advance geologic carbon sequestration, hydrogen, and geothermal projects. This role involves day-to-day leadership of the focus area and close collaboration with agency leadership, DOGAMI staff, project partners, federal, tribal, state, and local agencies, contractors, and the public. Key responsibilities include managing multiple complex projects, coordinating technical teams, overseeing specialized drilling and geoanalytical services, reviewing scientific reports, navigating regulatory processes, and tracking project progress, budgets, and deliverables. The position, in collaboration with the DOGAMI Public Affairs Coordinator, will organize, lead, and participate in meetings with interdisciplinary technical and non-technical teams, government agencies, contractors, and other interested parties.
