We at the Washington Geological Survey are very excited to announce that we have an open recruitment for an App Developer position!
This is a critical position responsible for IT development and maintenance of our Geologic Information Portal and our Lidar Portal. The App Developer will also be helping to develop and maintain custom-coded websites, such as our WA100 website, Data Preservation website, and our new Publications Catalog, as well as any custom interactive web map projects that might arise in the future. They will act as our Survey expert on coding, and will be able to help others by developing custom scripts as needed to automate workflows for GIS and data management. We are looking for somebody who has advanced programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, with a Bachelor’s degree in IT and four years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
