I am hiring a Geologic Publications Editor to join my team here at the Washington Geological Survey!
I’m looking for somebody who likes collaboration and teamwork and wants a job with a lot of variety. The Editor will be doing a range of tasks, including technical editing, copy editing, cartography, and graphic design. They’ll be working on many products, including pamphlets, maps, fact sheets, webpages, and booklets. They’ll also be responsible for editing and publishing rapid reports and maps for post-wildfire debris flow assessments and developing outreach materials for post-fire hazard awareness. My team is great and we have a lot of fun working together to publish high-quality products. I am eager to bring in somebody who shares our enthusiasm for geology and wants to help our authors shine.
